Modular homes vs. manufactured homes vs. panelized homes

Manufactured homes are constructed according to industry accepted and code compliant building standards. Most manufactured homes are constructed on a non-removable steel chassis, which may restrict where the home can be located, but also allows for future relocation.

Modular and panelized homes both use similar construction methods, but modular homes are delivered to the site nearly complete. Panelized homes arrive with more assembly required.
