Recently, our Fort McMurray operation hung a “Supporting Fort McMurray” banner from a CLAC building we took part in in 2013. The banner, intended to greet the returning residents of Fort McMurray after evacuating the 2016 fire, reads “welcome home, Fort McMurray – Together We Are Stronger.”

The original project, located at 400 Taiganova Crescent in Fort McMurray, was a full turn-key design / build 3-storey office building, with over 21,000 sq.ft. of space. It has a steel frame construction, with curtain wall features and an insulated panel envelope. Complete with fully developed landscaping, greenery features, and a fully developed parking lot.

Here are a few pictures of the build.

“Our organization has just recently finished two significant commercial construction projects utilizing the services of Cormode & Dickson…in both cases the final product is a building we are very proud to occupy” Wayne Prins – CLAC Alberta Provincial Director

At Cormode & Dickson, we are constantly striving to positively impact our community in any way we can. We understand that our community isn’t just a place we work, but part of a greater community, one where we live, raise our families, spend our time, and enjoy the surrounding environment.
